Before my first Harmonic Egg session, I never thought I’d write a blog post. I believed my days of sharing intimate secrets with strangers died with my LiveJournal back in 2003. But here I am, dipping a toe in once again.

When I tell people I bought a big, wooden Egg, they think I’ve finally cracked. “We knew it would happen once day, she made it longer than I thought she would.” And then they sit in it and become believers. The overwhelming relaxation they experience, the peace and letting go that comes over them – it’s difficult to compare it with any other modality.

Every person has a different experience during their Harmonic Egg session, because every person is different and brings their own unique “baggage.” The Harmonic Egg meets you where you are at on any given day – the wavelengths of the music and lights interact with your energy field to help bring anything that’s not vibrating correctly back into balance. And just like a piano, once you tune that wonky note, the instrument sounds amazing!

So, cool. Wavelenghts and sound and lights and vibration. But what does the Harmonic Egg session “feel” like?

For me, it almost feels like an energetic buzzing where something is off in my body – physically or emotionally. I have tendonitis in my right ankle, and during my first Harmonic Egg session it felt like a ribbon of energy was wrapping around just that ankle the entire time. And after that one session, my pain was gone. When the RA starts to act up in my fingers, I’ll feel the tingling in them during my session. Most sessions I reach a very meditative state where my whole body feels heavy and unable to move. Sometimes my body will still be vibrating after the music ends. It’s a wild, magical feeling that is hard to understand unless you’ve experienced it.
